Review: Big Shiny Cave decided to warm up for their BBC talent show appearance by supporting veteran rock band the "Racing Cars". The venue was pretty full but an all seated club with most inhabitants over the age of forty does not make for a great gig.  The BSC Bassist  described their performance as "average" but whatever the band did I don't think this crowd (bar one elderly man who was po-going in his seat all the way through scattered!) would have been engaged in the slightest. The only response visible in most of the crowd was in the opening song (all the small things) and during BSC`s own material the crowd did not seem at all interested; quite surprising as normally everyone can find charm in songs such as Thomas` song and Don't piss me off Marion. - matt
